Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, a former adviser to the caretaker government, has been appointed as the new chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines
The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism confirmed the announcement on Sunday through a press release, signed by General Manager of Public Relations at Biman Bangladesh Airlines Boshra Islam.
Abdul Muyeed brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as the Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from 1991 to 1994. His return to the national carrier marks a significant leadership change aimed at steering Biman towards new heights.
